Turin, November 25, 2025, International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women
On November 25, The International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, GTT, in collaboration with the Italian Association of Women in the Automotive Industry and UNCUT Studio, presents the awareness-raising commercial “An Empty Place,” produced with the patronage of the City of Turin.
The project uses essential cinematic language to recount the absence left by a woman who is a victim of violence.
The Turin Metro becomes a symbolic space where parallel lives collide through small, ordinary gestures.
Five passengers share a journey through their daily routine.
Among them is a silent, almost invisible woman.
On the last day, her seat remains empty: the other passengers, noticing her absence, draw a red mark on her face. This gesture transforms the emptiness into memory and collective responsibility.
“An Empty Place” calls for attention, memory, and responsibility.
The mark turns red, a symbol of awareness and invites the community not to remain indifferent in the face of gender-based violence.
To reaffirm the role of communication as a concrete tool for raising awareness and social change.
Mario Levi Spa is proud to have had the opportunity to participate in the project.
